"Let no man despise thy youth;
but be thou an example of the
believers,
in word, in conversation, in
charity,
in spirit, in faith, in purity."
(1Timothy 4:12)
Great Witnessing!
As Paul
penned his first letter to young Timothy,
he
emphasized the influence of youth
by exhorting
him to be an example.
Young or
old, like it or not, a Christian's life
is (or
should be) a walking sermon!
By our godly
life, we can lead others to the Lord.
However, the
opposite is true also.
Unfaithfulness to Christ suggests that there
is no
difference between the Christian life and
living without God.
Our
obedience to Christ must be conditioned
primarily
upon our life for Him.
It must be
so great it leaves us no choice
(2Cor.5:14)
but to
follow Him.
And it must
reflect an inner yearning to seek first
the kingdom
and righteousness of God
(Matthew
6:33).
In all our
activities and everything we do,
we must be
mindful always,
that our
decisions will go far beyond our life.
They will be
deeply felt in the lives and destinies of
others.
The gospel
in us is the most powerful we can speak
to the
people whom we wish to win for Christ.
May God
bless you with Great Witnessing!
