"For the good that I would I do
not:
but the evil which I would not,
that I do."
Romans 7:19
Soul-Strengthening Sunday's
(or which day that you chose to
worship)
Ever feel
like Paul at the end of a long work week?
"O
wretched man that I am!"
Does your
conscience nag at you
and beat you
down with a long list of
failures,
sins, and short-comings?
Well, just
like Paul, we all struggle with sin.
As we review
and reflect upon this past week,
we will
recall
the
encouraging words we didn't speak,
perhaps a
little unnecessary gossip,
or even a
word of profanity which slipped off our
tongues.
All of those
unkind thoughts, words and deeds
refer to the
above Scripture verse.
BUT . .
.
There is
help and healing!!
There is a
gift of forgiveness!
There is
strength for the soul!
It is the
Good News of God's glorious Gospel.
So . .
.
Let's go to
church and bask in the blessings of God's
Word!
The cross of
Christ will be preached and proclaimed.
Jesus died
there for you and for me.
This message
alone,
will lift us
up and give strength to our souls.
May the good
Lord strengthen your soul today
as you
gather for worship in His house.
