"THEREFORE, being justified by
faith,
we have peace with God
through our Lord Jesus Christ:
By whom also we have access by
faith
into this grace wherein we stand,
and rejoice in hope of the glory of
God."
Romans 5:1-2
Miracles, Signs and Wonders
Many people
marveled at the miraculous events
of Jesus' days here on earth
when He fed a huge crowd
with a
couple of fishes and few loaves of bread.
Also when He
healed the blind man,
cleansed the
leper,
and healed
the woman with the issue of bleeding.
Not to
mention many other miracles He performed.
These and
other signs signaled God's presence
in the world
in the person Jesus Christ.
And today,
God still signals His presence!
Paul writes,
"And now
these three remain:
faith, hope
and charity . . ."
What
miraculous signs these are!
What is more
extraordinary than the consecrated
lives of
ordinary Christians?
What is more
remarkable than the day-to-day
dedicated
work of God's people?
What is more
significant than our continued
confidence
in Jesus and His promise of salvation?
Miracles,
signs, and wonders?
The greatest
miracle is that miracle of love
that God
forgives us for Jesus' sake.
By the power
of the Holy Spirit, we see them!
We live
them!
