Our Real Weatherman
Working late
nights, I often have the opportunity to
watch the
news broadcasts each day,
both during
the morning and evening hours.
I really
don't know why,
but I have
always been a fanatic about catching
the weather
forecast each and every day.
However,
those five day outlooks often turn out
to be real
disappointments most times.
I know Who
controls
the sunny
and rainy days, the tornados and hurricanes,
yet I still
am piped in to see the forecast!
It is God
who makes the weather.
The
weatherman does not make it, and the proof is
that he does
not always give us the correct report.
He is not in
touch with Headquarters!
He is in
touch with a lot of scientific gadgets,
and every
now and then
he comes up
with an educated guess.
But God
makes the weather!
God is the
Creator.
Not only
does He make the weather,
but He runs
the universe as it pleases Him.
May we all
give thanks and praise to our Lord
for His
kindness!
He is far
greater and more knowledgable than
any human
being or scientific gadget.
He does as
He chooses in heaven and on earth
and in the
deepest parts of the sea.
He makes the
clouds rise,
and he makes
lightning to go with the rain.
Then, from
His secret place, He sends out the wind.
He knows
what His earth needs at all times,
and He
provides it with such as He wills.
God is GOOD!
Praise ye
the Lord!
