"For where
two or three are gathered together
in my name,
there am I
in the midst of them."
Matthew 18:20
A Christian's Trading Post
During the century of westward migration in America,
the
trading post was a familiar landmark in every frontier
town.
To
the trading post came the hunters, trappers,
miners, and homesteaders
with
such things as furs, gold, and land
they
wanted to trade off for things they needed more,
like
food, clothing, ammunition, tools, etc.
In a
very real way, the church is a kind of trading post
also.
Here,
some things may be put down and left,
and
others may be picked up and taken.
We
may bring our cares and fears, our sins and guilt.
And
way can pick up and take
forgiveness, joy and peace.
Is
there something you would like to trade today?
Jesus
is abundantly waiting.
Giving Glory to God in Every Thing!
The
church is:
Never a place, but always a people!
Never
a fold, but always a flock!
Never
a building, but always a believing assembly!
JESUS is our One true source of joy!
NOTHING compares to the promise we have in Him!
