"And to know the love of Christ,
which passeth knowedge,
that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.
"
Ephesians 3:19

Press Toward The Mark!

The Apostle Paul's greatest desire was to always
move forward in the knowledge
and blessing of God.

Many Christians today, do not have that desire
for spiritual maturity as Paul did.
Many feel that now that they are saved and forgiven,
they are complete in Christ.
And so they just relax with a feeling of
needing nothing more for their inheritance.

With great desire, Paul wrote,
"That I may win Christ."
Yet he already had Christ!
With obvious longing, he said,
"That I may be found in Him."
Yet he was already in Him!
Paul humbly and intensely breathed his great desire,
"That I may know Him."
But again, he already knew Him!
However, because Paul did not want to stand still,
he testified,
"I follow after; I press toward the mark.
I am striving to lay hold of that for which
Christ laid hold on me!
"

As Paul had the desire to be completely available
to God, we should also.
Paul's prayer for the Ephesians is also for us.
We can ask the Holy Spirit to fill
every aspect of our life to the fullest.

May God bless you as you seek the fullness
of Christ in your life.
