Your poem is a blessing. I would like to give it to my 23-yr old daughter mom of 2 whose boyfriend broke up with her yesterday. THis poem describes her exactly. She has a big heart. Beautiful graphics. The little girl even looks like my Jessica.

Hello Karen,

Just catching up with your last mail, and the poetry is truly wonderful. I can read a lot of hurt and pain in the words, but at the same time I also see a lot of faith and hope. Beautiful words written as only you can.

Sorry I haven’t been around a great deal, seems as soon as I get one thing caught up, another rears up to put me behind again. Of course having to do everything at a much slower pace does not help either.

Thank you for your visit and signing my Guest Book, you of course do know how much that is appreciated.

I am amazed at the truly lovely pages that Siggy keeps building, it wasn’t all that long ago she was asking me for some tips about using her graphics programs, and now Siggy has so much more ability than I could ever dream about.

Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

God bless

Eddie

Sweet, Sweet Karen, What a blessing I have received from your poem. It reminded me of the loss I have had to bear at times & that they too are waiting on heavens shores. Ohhh Thank you Karen for helping me realize again that earth is just a stopping place as we wait to be called to our Lord's side. God Bless you My Friend.

I thought it was interesting, when I read the "Tattered Old CookBook", the Household Searchlight, is a cookbook that my mother also had. I had been doing a search for it, and came upon this page. Anyway, MY sister MARILYN also got my Mom's cookbook to, and I had always wanted it. Anyway, found one on E-Bay, may not be the right year, but Mom had that cookbook for as long as I can remember, and I was born in 1943. The cookbook I found, was a 1939. Enjoyed the poem, and you have a nice site here. Glad to have stumbled across it!

Hello Karen,

Thank you my friend for your ongoing friendship throughout another year. I also want to thank you for all the wonderful pages you have sent which are always a treasure to visit. I know I have been a little lax in signing Guest Books lately but to be honest I have done much of anything. Hopefully the New Year will bring with it a new round of enthusiasm for me.

It has been both a great year and in some ways a difficult year for me, but I am grateful to always have the Lord by my side especially at the most difficult of times. The load certainly is lighter when He helps to carry the load.

Really loved the photo on your special Christmas page, it is beautiful and simply emanates a lot of family love just by looking at it.

May I wish you and yours a very Happy and Blessed Christmas filled with much love, peace, joy and happiness. I pray that our precious Lord will continue to watch over you not only at this time, but as we move on to another year in our lives. Wishing you all the best for 2009.

God bless

Eddie

Dear Karen,
Your poem is AWESOME and tells of loss, love and blessings, things we all experience in this life. I love the beautiful photo of you and your girls. I know that you are enjoying every minute that you are able to spend with them this year. My prayer is for more blessings this coming year and fewer losses, a selfish prayer I know. I am missing my sister this Christmas, it will be difficult to spend it without her, but there is a blessing included in her loss, the Lord took away all her pain and now she is resting in bliss with our Lord.

Merry Christmas, Love you, Shy

To My Readers:
Again, my heart is saddened, and my soul weeps with the news that yet another musician and poet had been called home. The Lord must be calling all his singers home, as news just arrived that Ken, the gospelman, passed into Jesus' Loving Arms this evening. Please join me in prayer for Chrissy and all those who loved Ken.
God Bless and remember...........
U R Loved.
